Assam Governor Inaugurates ISKCON's 50-Year Golden Jubilee Celebrations in Guwahati

ISKCON Assam has commenced its golden jubilee celebrations, marking 50 years of its presence in the state. The event, which includes the Assam Namhatta Sanmilan and Bhakta Mahotsav, was inaugurated by Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya in Guwahati. Governor Acharya highlighted the spiritual contributions of Vaishnava saints and ISKCON's role in fostering spiritual consciousness. A souvenir book titled “Panchajanya” was also released to commemorate the occasion, acknowledging ISKCON's significant impact on Assam's spiritual and cultural heritage over the past five decades.

असम के राज्यपाल ने गुवाहाटी में इस्कॉन के 50 साल के स्वर्ण जयंती समारोह का उद्घाटन किया

इस्कॉन असम ने राज्य में अपनी उपस्थिति के 50 साल पूरे होने के उपलक्ष्य में स्वर्ण जयंती समारोह शुरू कर दिया है। असम नामहट्टा सम्मेलन और भक्त महोत्सव सहित इस कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन असम के राज्यपाल लक्ष्मण प्रसाद आचार्य ने गुवाहाटी में किया। राज्यपाल आचार्य ने वैष्णव संतों के आध्यात्मिक योगदान और आध्यात्मिक चेतना को बढ़ावा देने में इस्कॉन की भूमिका पर प्रकाश डाला। इस अवसर के उपलक्ष्य में “पंचजन्य” नामक एक स्मारिका पुस्तक भी जारी की गई, जिसमें पिछले पांच दशकों में असम की आध्यात्मिक और सांस्कृतिक विरासत पर इस्कॉन के महत्वपूर्ण प्रभाव को स्वीकार किया गया है।
