दिल्ली पुलिस ने 10 अक्टूबर को जंतर मंतर पर होने वाले कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी (सीजेपी) के विरोध प्रदर्शन की इजाज़त देने से इनकार कर दिया है। इनकार का कारण आवेदन देर से मिलना बताया गया है, जो सिर्फ तीन दिन बाद होने वाले कार्यक्रम के लिए 7 अक्टूबर को प्राप्त हुआ था। सार्वजनिक सुरक्षा, कानून व्यवस्था और यातायात प्रबंधन से जुड़ी चिंताओं ने भी इस फैसले में योगदान दिया। संविधान अनुच्छेद 19(1)(a) और 19(1)(b) के तहत शांतिपूर्ण विरोध के अधिकार की रक्षा करता है, लेकिन ये अधिकार उचित प्रतिबंधों के अधीन हैं।
