The Hindu · india
Leader of the Opposition in Karnataka Legislative Council, Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, alleged that the Congress has allied with anti-national forces to protest against the BJP-led central government. He claimed the Congress is stoking unrest by raising non-issues like NEET and SIR, attempting to create an Emergency-like situation. Narayanaswamy stated that regime change occurs through votes, not street protests, and criticized the state government's drought relief efforts and financial management. He also addressed reservation policies, promising justice for SC/ST communities if his party comes to power.
