GST 2.0 Boosts Auto Sales, Over 3 Crore

Following the implementation of new GST rates last year, the Indian automobile market has seen significant changes. Between October 2024 and August 2025, over 3 crore vehicles were sold, marking a 20% year-on-year increase. This surge, significantly higher than the pre-GST 2.0 growth of under 5%, indicates the positive impact of the revised tax structure on the sector.

पिछले साल नए GST रेट लागू होने के बाद से भारतीय ऑटोमोबाइल बाज़ार में बड़े बदलाव आए हैं। अक्टूबर 2024 से अगस्त 2025 के बीच 3 करोड़ से ज़्यादा गाड़ियाँ बिकीं, जो पिछले साल के मुकाबले 20% ज़्यादा है। यह बढ़ोतरी, GST 2.0 से पहले के 5% से कम के ग्रोथ के मुकाबले काफी ज़्यादा है, जो नए टैक्स सिस्टम के सकारात्मक असर को दिखाता है।
