The Keralam Home Department has ordered the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) to investigate alleged irregularities in the construction of the P&T Apartment Complex at Mundamveli, Kochi. The project, built by GCDA for ₹14.50 crore to house 77 families, began leaking within weeks of residents moving in. Families have been protesting for over two months, demanding immediate rehabilitation and title deeds. The VACB director confirmed a team will be formed to conduct the inquiry, seeking expert advice.

केरल गृह विभाग ने विजिलेंस और भ्रष्टाचार निरोधक ब्यूरो (VACB) को कोच्चि के मुंडमवेली में P&T अपार्टमेंट कॉम्प्लेक्स के निर्माण में कथित अनियमितताओं की जांच करने का आदेश दिया है। GCDA द्वारा ₹14.50 करोड़ में 77 परिवारों के लिए बनाए गए इस प्रोजेक्ट में निवासियों के आने के कुछ हफ्तों के भीतर ही लीकेज शुरू हो गया था। परिवार दो महीने से अधिक समय से तत्काल पुनर्वास और टाइटल डीड की मांग को लेकर विरोध प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं। VACB निदेशक ने पुष्टि की कि जांच करने के लिए एक टीम बनाई जाएगी और विशेषज्ञों की सलाह ली जाएगी।
