Cuttack Durga Puja Pandal Celebrates Nature With Recycled Materials
Times of India · environment
Cuttack's Alisha Bazaar Durga Puja pandal this year features a unique jungle-themed installation called 'Jungle View', created by local youths using waste materials like gunny bags, oil tins, straw, and dry branches. The installation aims to spread a message of environmental protection, highlighting the importance of conserving forests, protecting wildlife, and reusing discarded items. This creative effort showcases community participation and ingenuity in transforming waste into an attractive display. The pandal also pays homage to Alisha Bazaar's traditional Durga Puja customs, including its famous fish offering and silver tableau.
