Homebuyers in Kalyan have filed a complaint alleging that a MHADA project redevelopment has stalled since 2022, with construction only reaching the 10th floor of a planned 29-story building. The developers, Tycoon Avanti Projects LLP, are accused of collecting over Rs 176 crore from 184 society members and hundreds of other flat purchasers. One buyer reported paying Rs 39.36 lakh in 2021 for a flat with an expected possession date of July 2025. The complaint also alleges the society's land was mortgaged by the developer.

कल्याण में घर खरीदारों ने शिकायत दर्ज कराई है कि MHADA प्रोजेक्ट का पुनर्विकास 2022 से रुका हुआ है, और नियोजित 29-मंजिला इमारत का निर्माण केवल 10वीं मंजिल तक ही पहुंचा है। डेवलपर्स, Tycoon Avanti Projects LLP पर 184 सोसाइटी सदस्यों और सैकड़ों अन्य फ्लैट खरीदारों से 176 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक वसूलने का आरोप है। एक खरीदार ने जुलाई 2025 में अपेक्षित कब्जे की तारीख वाले फ्लैट के लिए 2021 में 39.36 लाख रुपये का भुगतान करने की सूचना दी। शिकायत में यह भी आरोप लगाया गया है कि डेवलपर द्वारा सोसाइटी की जमीन गिरवी रखी गई थी।
