Ajmer Businessman Robbed of ₹3 Crore Jewellery by Fake IT Officials; Six Held

Six individuals have been arrested within three hours of a daylight robbery in Ajmer, Rajasthan, where a group posing as Income Tax officials stole jewellery worth an estimated ₹3 crore. The accused, who displayed fake ID cards, searched the 29-year-old businessman's house and fled with valuables. Police formed multiple teams, examined CCTV footage, and analysed technical evidence to track and apprehend the suspects. Preliminary investigations suggest the robbery was planned over a month, with some suspects having prior knowledge of the victim's house or professional dealings.
