Five Arrested Near UK Air Base Plot

Five men were arrested near RAF Fairford in western England on Sunday after police received reports of suspicious vans heading towards the military air base. The men were initially detained under explosives legislation and later arrested on suspicion of preparing an act of terrorism. An Army bomb-disposal team searched three vans, and about 85 homes were evacuated.
