Pinarayi Vijayan Kin Move Kerala High Court Against FIR Order in Payoff Case

Kerala's Leader of Opposition Pinarayi Vijayan and his family members have appealed to the Kerala High Court against a Single Bench order directing the registration of an FIR in the CMRL Exalogic payoff case. The Division Bench admitted petitions from Vijayan, his daughter T. Veena, and son-in-law P. A. Mohammad Riyas. The accused argue they were not given a chance to be heard before the FIR directive. The case involves allegations of monthly payments from Cochin Minerals and Rutile Limited to Ms. Veena between 2017 and 2021.
