India has strongly refuted China's statements regarding Ladakh, asserting that the Union Territory is an inseparable part of India. The Ministry of External Affairs clarified that regardless of China's denial, this fact remains unchanged. This response comes after China reacted to India's identification of 28 places and geographical features on the official map of Ladakh. The Indian government stated that this exercise, conducted in consultation with local stakeholders, aims to formally mark and raise awareness about these locations.

भारत ने लद्दाख को लेकर चीन के बयानों को मजबूती से खारिज कर दिया है, और कहा है कि यह केंद्र शासित प्रदेश भारत का एक अविभाज्य हिस्सा है। विदेश मंत्रालय ने स्पष्ट किया कि चीन के इनकार के बावजूद, यह तथ्य अपरिवर्तित रहता है। यह प्रतिक्रिया चीन द्वारा लद्दाख के आधिकारिक नक्शे पर 28 स्थानों और भौगोलिक विशेषताओं की भारत की पहचान पर प्रतिक्रिया देने के बाद आई है। भारत सरकार ने कहा कि स्थानीय हितधारकों के साथ परामर्श में की गई यह कवायद इन स्थानों को औपचारिक रूप से चिह्नित करने और जागरूकता बढ़ाने के उद्देश्य से है।
