RJD, AISA Protest Roll Revision, Demand CEC Ouster in Ranchi

The RJD and the All India Students’ Association (AISA) held separate protests in Ranchi, demonstrating against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The RJD also protested the Mines and Minerals Amendment Act, claiming it would cause Jharkhand an annual loss of Rs 13,000 crore. Meanwhile, state BJP president Aditya Sahu accused Congress and JMM of opposing the roll revision to protect their vote banks, alleging the exercise aims to remove illegal residents.

RJD और All India Students’ Association (AISA) ने Ranchi में अलग-अलग विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। उन्होंने चुनावी रोल के Special Intensive Revision (SIR) के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन किया और Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar से इस्तीफे की मांग की। RJD ने Mines and Minerals Amendment Act का भी विरोध किया, दावा किया कि इससे Jharkhand को सालाना Rs 13,000 करोड़ का नुकसान होगा। वहीं, प्रदेश BJP अध्यक्ष Aditya Sahu ने Congress और JMM पर वोट बैंक बचाने के लिए रोल रिवीजन का विरोध करने का आरोप लगाया, और कहा कि यह कवायद अवैध निवासियों को हटाने के लिए है।
