Uttar Pradesh Exports Surge Under Yogi Govt, NITI Aayog Recognizes Growth

Uttar Pradesh has significantly boosted its export performance during the Yogi Adityanath government's tenure, moving from local strengths to global markets. The state was ranked fourth among large states in the NITI Aayog Export Preparedness Index 2024, earning 'Leader' status. Merchandise exports reached approximately Rs 1.72 lakh crore in FY2024, with key sectors including electronics, leather, agriculture, and textiles. The One District One Product (ODOP) program has been instrumental, linking artisans and MSMEs to the export chain and accounting for about half of the state's exports.

योगी आदित्यनाथ सरकार के कार्यकाल में उत्तर प्रदेश ने अपने निर्यात प्रदर्शन को काफी बढ़ाया है, जो स्थानीय ताकतों से वैश्विक बाजारों की ओर बढ़ा है। नीति आयोग निर्यात तैयारी सूचकांक 2024 में बड़े राज्यों में राज्य को चौथा स्थान मिला और 'लीडर' का दर्जा हासिल हुआ। वित्त वर्ष 2024 में मर्चेंडाइज निर्यात लगभग 1.72 लाख करोड़ रुपये तक पहुंच गया, जिसमें इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स, चमड़ा, कृषि और कपड़ा जैसे प्रमुख क्षेत्र शामिल हैं। वन डिस्ट्रिक्ट वन प्रोडक्ट (ODOP) कार्यक्रम महत्वपूर्ण रहा है, जिसने कारीगरों और MSMEs को निर्यात श्रृंखला से जोड़ा है और राज्य के निर्यात का लगभग आधा हिस्सा इसी से आया है।
