Pinarayi Vijayan Accuses Kerala CM Of Artificial Power Crisis, Demands File Disclosure

Opposition leader Pinarayi Vijayan has accused the UDF government in Keralam of creating an artificial power crisis to benefit corporate monopolies. He demanded Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan disclose all files related to electricity supply offers from Himachal Pradesh and GNA Energy OTC. Vijayan alleged the Chief Minister is misleading the public and overruling the Electricity Minister and KSEB decisions. The Chief Minister had previously defended the GNA Energy deal, stating it would avert a financial liability of ₹2,200 crore.

विपक्ष के नेता पिनराई विजयन ने केरल में UDF सरकार पर कॉर्पोरेट एकाधिकार को फायदा पहुंचाने के लिए कृत्रिम बिजली संकट पैदा करने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने मुख्यमंत्री वी.डी. सतीसन से हिमाचल प्रदेश और GNA Energy OTC से बिजली आपूर्ति के प्रस्तावों से संबंधित सभी फाइलें सार्वजनिक करने की मांग की। विजयन ने आरोप लगाया कि मुख्यमंत्री जनता को गुमराह कर रहे हैं और बिजली मंत्री व KSEB के फैसलों को दरकिनार कर रहे हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने पहले GNA Energy डील का बचाव करते हुए कहा था कि इससे ₹2,200 करोड़ की वित्तीय देनदारी से बचा जा सकेगा।
