Bihar CM Transfers Rs112 Crore To 1.6 Lakh Flood-Hit Families

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Monday disbursed Rs 112 crore directly to 1,60,201 flood-affected families as gratuitous relief. Each family received Rs 7,000 via direct benefit transfer, bringing the total state aid to Rs 726 crore for over 10 lakh households. The CM also announced agricultural input grants for farmers and ordered the repair of flood-damaged infrastructure before Diwali. The government is developing a long-term plan to mitigate future flood crises in the state.

बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री सम्राट चौधरी ने सोमवार को 1,60,201 बाढ़-पीड़ित परिवारों को सीधे ₹112 करोड़ की अनुग्रह राशि बांटी। डायरेक्ट बेनिफिट ट्रांसफर के ज़रिए हर परिवार को ₹7,000 मिले, जिससे 10 लाख से ज़्यादा परिवारों के लिए राज्य की कुल सहायता ₹726 करोड़ हो गई। सीएम ने किसानों के लिए कृषि इनपुट अनुदान की भी घोषणा की और दिवाली से पहले बाढ़ से क्षतिग्रस्त बुनियादी ढांचे की मरम्मत का आदेश दिया। सरकार राज्य में भविष्य के बाढ़ संकट को कम करने के लिए एक दीर्घकालिक योजना विकसित कर रही है।
