US national Jordan Brown was apprehended by Uttar Pradesh police for attempting to enter Nepal without valid authorization. Brown claimed he lost his passport in Thailand and traveled to India by sea, having previously stayed in Goa and Bengaluru. Authorities are currently investigating his statements and his lack of proper travel documents.
