Indian Stocks Rally For Fourth Day Amidst FPI Buying Surge

Business Standard Markets · stocks

Indian stock markets extended their gains for a fourth consecutive session, with the Nifty closing 1.58 per cent higher. This rally was supported by easing crude oil prices, improved global cues, and significant foreign institutional investor (FII) buying. FIIs made net purchases of ₹6,837 crore on November 3, the highest since October 2025. Optimism around potential government decisions on long-term capital gains tax and strong corporate earnings also boosted investor confidence. Consumer demand ahead of Diwali further contributed to the positive sentiment across most sectors.
