Silver is experiencing intense selling pressure, with prices falling below the crucial $54.50 support level, potentially driving them towards $50 and $48. Despite lower US yields and tight COMEX inventories, bearish momentum and shifting investor sentiment are impacting the white metal. While current prices might present accumulation opportunities for the medium to long term, further near-term declines are anticipated. Spot silver has already slumped nearly 27 per cent year-to-date and 13 per cent this month.
