Hyderabad Water Board Fines Tankers Rs 5,000 For Wastage

HMWSSB will impose a Rs 5,000 fine on water tankers found wasting drinking water during transportation,. Repeat offenders risk registration cancellation. Tankers with leaking containers, missing lids, or improperly secured covers will be denied water filling until defects are fixed. Officials are instructed to prevent tankers from being filled beyond capacity and to inspect all vehicles before filling. This measure aims to curb the wastage of precious drinking water resources.

HMWSSB पानी की बर्बादी करते पाए जाने वाले पानी के टैंकरों पर 5,000 रुपये का जुर्माना लगाएगा। बार-बार गलती करने वालों के रजिस्ट्रेशन रद्द हो सकते हैं। लीक हो रहे कंटेनर, ढक्कन गायब या ठीक से बंद न होने वाले टैंकरों को तब तक पानी नहीं भरने दिया जाएगा जब तक खामियां ठीक न हो जाएं। अधिकारियों को टैंकरों को क्षमता से ज़्यादा भरने से रोकने और भरने से पहले सभी वाहनों का निरीक्षण करने का निर्देश दिया गया है। इस कदम का मकसद कीमती पीने के पानी के संसाधनों की बर्बादी को रोकना है।
