Andhra Pradesh Rain Crop Damage Hits 44,029 Hectares

Cyclone-related rains have damaged crops across 44,029 hectares in Andhra Pradesh, affecting 71,796 farmers. Horticultural crops in 14 districts covering 1,734 hectares were also impacted. Agriculture Minister K Atchannaidu has directed officials to expedite the enumeration of crop losses to ensure all affected farmers receive assistance. The minister stressed the importance of accurate documentation and field verification to reflect the true extent of the damage before further government measures are decided.
