Nearly 2.3 million people participated in Moscow's State Duma elections on the first day, casting votes either online or in person. Dmitry Reut, deputy chairman of the Moscow City Election Commission, reported that over 2.09 million voters chose electronic balloting, while more than 180,000 opted for paper ballots.
