Authorities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo have announced that the Ebola outbreak has peaked, with infection rates slowing for the first time since May. Health Minister Samuel Roger Kamba stated that daily cases have decreased from approximately 120 to 80. Six health zones have reported no new cases for over 42 days, and four others for over 21 days.
