Goods Vehicles Banned From Mumbai-Pune Expressway Missing Link From November 1
Hindustan Times · automobile
All goods-carrying vehicles will be prohibited from using the Missing Link on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway starting November 1, according to revised traffic rules by the Maharashtra traffic police. This decision withdraws earlier permission for light goods vehicles, requiring all such vehicles to use the existing expressway alignment. The move aims to enhance safety within the Missing Link's tunnels, prevent traffic jams, and reduce accident risks. Hazardous material carriers are also banned from the new route.
