IIIT Ranchi Student Found Dead in Hostel Room; Students Protest Medical Facility Shortage

A first-year student, Aditya from Purnia, Bihar, was found dead by suicide in his hostel room at IIIT Ranchi. His friends discovered him after he did not respond, breaking down his door to find him hanging. They rushed him to a private hospital where he was declared dead. IIIT रांची में एक प्रथम वर्ष के छात्र, बिहार के पूर्णिया के रहने वाले आदित्य, का उसके हॉस्टल के कमरे में शव मिला। उसके दोस्तों ने जब उससे कोई जवाब नहीं मिला तो उसका दरवाज़ा तोड़कर उसे फंदे से लटकता पाया। उन्होंने उसे एक निजी अस्पताल पहुँचाया जहाँ उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया गया। नाराज़ छात्रों ने विरोध प्रदर्शन किया, उनका आरोप है कि अगर कैंपस में समय पर आपातकालीन चिकित्सा सुविधा उपलब्ध होती तो छात्र की जान बचाई जा सकती थी। पुलिस ने कमरे को सील कर दिया है और मौत के कारणों की जांच कर रही है, कोई सुसाइड नोट नहीं मिला है।
