Uttar Pradesh IT-ITeS Exports Surpass Rs 1 Lakh Crore Milestone

Uttar Pradesh's IT and IT-enabled services (ITeS) exports have crossed Rs 1 lakh crore for the first time, more than doubling in five years. Principal Secretary Alok Kumar stated that exports reached Rs 1,01,970 crore in 2025-26, a significant increase from Rs 48,004 crore in 2020-21. This growth was observed in both Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) units and special economic zone (SEZ) units. The expansion aims to broaden the state's technology base beyond established hubs and create more opportunities for its skilled workforce.

उत्तर प्रदेश के IT और IT-enabled services (ITeS) निर्यात पहली बार ₹1 लाख करोड़ के पार हो गए हैं, जो पाँच सालों में दोगुने से भी ज़्यादा हैं। प्रमुख सचिव आलोक कुमार ने बताया कि 2025-26 में निर्यात ₹1,01,970 करोड़ तक पहुँच गया, जो 2020-21 के ₹48,004 करोड़ से काफी ज़्यादा है। यह बढ़ोतरी Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) यूनिट्स और special economic zone (SEZ) यूनिट्स दोनों में देखी गई है। इस विस्तार का मकसद राज्य के टेक्नोलॉजी बेस को स्थापित हब से आगे बढ़ाना और यहाँ के कुशल कार्यबल के लिए ज़्यादा मौके पैदा करना है।
