Hyderabad Sweet Shops Face Action: Licences Suspended, Notices Issued Over Hygiene

TG-SAFE officials have suspended the licences of five sweet-manufacturing units in Hyderabad, including G Pulla Reddy Sweets, due to unhygienic conditions and expired food items. Show-cause notices were issued to seven other establishments, including Karachi Bakery International, for violations like pest infestation and improper storage. Officials seized 3,546.5 kg of food items worth ₹16.86 lakh during inspections across 16 units. The actions aim to enforce food safety standards and protect public health by ensuring compliance with regulations.

TG-SAFE अधिकारियों ने हैदराबाद में जी पुल्ला रेड्डी स्वीट्स सहित पांच मिठाई बनाने वाली इकाइयों के लाइसेंस निलंबित कर दिए हैं। इसका कारण अस्वास्थ्यकर स्थितियां और एक्सपायर्ड खाद्य पदार्थ थे। कराची बेकरी इंटरनेशनल सहित सात अन्य प्रतिष्ठानों को कीटों का प्रकोप और अनुचित भंडारण जैसे उल्लंघनों के लिए कारण बताओ नोटिस जारी किए गए। अधिकारियों ने 16 इकाइयों में निरीक्षण के दौरान 16.86 लाख रुपये के 3,546.5 किलोग्राम खाद्य पदार्थ जब्त किए। यह कार्रवाई खाद्य सुरक्षा मानकों को लागू करने और नियमों का अनुपालन सुनिश्चित करके सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य की रक्षा के उद्देश्य से की गई है।
