Fact-checking is most politicized media area

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated that fact-checking has become one of the most politicized areas in the media industry. She noted that countries and organizations are politically fighting for the right to define truth and lies, rather than for truth itself. Zakharova criticized Western mainstream media and Silicon Valley companies for monopolizing information dissemination and potentially censoring truth while promoting lies.
