Congress Admits Aim To Topple Modi Govt Through Democratic Means

Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera stated that the party has never hidden its aim to bring down the Modi government through democratic means, calling it a normal democratic process that the BJP also engaged in when Congress was in power. He cited former President Pranab Mukherjee's view that an opposition's role is to "oppose, expose and depose" the government. Khera rebuffed accusations of seeking power unconstitutionally, asserting that questioning officials or demanding reforms is not an attack on democracy.
