The controversy arose at Swami Atmanand School after middle school students brought the books home, prompting protests from parents who questioned the material's presence in a government institution. Parents alleged that followers of Asaram had visited the school and handed out the books through the principal. The education department initiated an inquiry, leading to the principal's immediate removal.
