An eight-year-old child and an 18-month-old toddler have lost both parents in a shooting incident at a Guwahati hotel, which claimed five lives. Their grandfather, Dilip Bharali, has pledged to take responsibility for their upbringing, education, and future. The children's parents, along with other family members, were killed by an accused who had leased the hotel over a financial dispute. The accused has been sent to seven days' police custody. The family is seeking justice and a fast-track trial for the case.
