Telangana Allows In-Principle Sanctions For Urban Projects Under Centre’s Fund

The Telangana government has authorised the State Mission Director of the Urban Challenge Fund (UCF) to grant in-principle administrative sanctions for urban projects. These sanctions are subject to specific approvals and must adhere to operational guidelines from the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. Projects require clearance from the State Level High Powered Committee and the Finance Department before preliminary reports are forwarded to the Centre.
