UP Power Consumers to Save Rs 645 Crore with Highest-Ever 9.17% Relief in November Bills

Uttar Pradesh electricity consumers will receive unprecedented relief of 9.17% on their November 2026 bills, thanks to the Fuel and Power Purchase Adjustment Surcharge mechanism. This adjustment is projected to save consumers across the state approximately Rs 645 crore. Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited announced this relief, noting it marks the fifth consecutive month of savings due to lower actual power procurement and fuel costs. This ongoing reduction in charges aims to protect consumer interests and reflects effective management of electricity procurement expenses by UPPCL.

उत्तर प्रदेश के बिजली उपभोक्ताओं को फ्यूल एंड पावर परचेज एडजस्टमेंट सरचार्ज (FPPAS) मैकेनिज्म के कारण नवंबर 2026 के बिलों पर 9.17% की अभूतपूर्व राहत मिलेगी। इस समायोजन से राज्य भर के उपभोक्ताओं को लगभग 645 करोड़ रुपये की बचत होने का अनुमान है। उत्तर प्रदेश पावर कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेड (UPPCL) ने यह राहत घोषित की, और बताया कि यह लगातार पांचवां महीना है जब बिजली खरीद और ईंधन की लागत कम होने से बचत हुई है। शुल्कों में यह लगातार कमी उपभोक्ताओं के हितों की रक्षा करने के उद्देश्य से की गई है और यह UPPCL द्वारा बिजली खरीद खर्चों के प्रभावी प्रबंधन को दर्शाती है।
