Congress candidate Abhijeet Wanjari has retained the Nagpur Division Graduates’ constituency seat, defeating his BJP rival Sudhakar Kohale by 3,271 votes. Wanjari secured 67,231 votes, while Kohale received 63,960 votes after the elimination rounds. This result is a significant setback for the BJP, as the constituency is home to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The BJP had extensively campaigned for Kohale, who had led after the second round of counting. The seat was previously held by Nitin Gadkari for several terms.
