Ajay Devgn's Legal Challenge Won't Halt Vimal Ad Proceedings: FDA Chief

Maharashtra's Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has initiated adjudication proceedings against Ajay Devgn regarding the Vimal Elaichi advertisement controversy. Despite the actor approaching the High Court to challenge the action, FDA Commissioner Tukaram Munde stated that proceedings will continue as per the law. Notices were previously issued to actors Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Tiger Shroff for endorsing Vimal Elaichi, with authorities alleging surrogate promotions for prohibited pan masala and tobacco products. Hearings have been completed, and the matter is now with the Joint Commissioner for a decision.

महाराष्ट्र के खाद्य एवं औषधि प्रशासन (FDA) ने विमल इलायची विज्ञापन विवाद के संबंध में अजय देवगन के खिलाफ अधिनिर्णय कार्यवाही शुरू कर दी है। अभिनेता द्वारा इस कार्रवाई को हाई कोर्ट में चुनौती देने के बावजूद, FDA आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंडे ने कहा कि कानून के अनुसार कार्यवाही जारी रहेगी। पहले अभिनेता शाहरुख खान, अजय देवगन और टाइगर श्रॉफ को विमल इलायची के प्रचार के लिए नोटिस जारी किए गए थे, जिसमें अधिकारियों ने प्रतिबंधित गुटखा और तंबाकू उत्पादों के लिए सरोगेट प्रचार का आरोप लगाया था। सुनवाई पूरी हो चुकी है और मामला अब निर्णय के लिए संयुक्त आयुक्त के पास है।
