Millet Art Exhibition Marks World Food Day In Visakhapatnam

An art exhibition featuring paintings made with millets was inaugurated in Visakhapatnam to celebrate World Food Day. The exhibition, organised by millet artist Meka Vijay Kumar, showcases 16 artworks that trace the evolution of human food habits. These artworks depict the journey from traditional food systems and millets to modern packaged foods and fast-food culture. Divisional Railway Manager Lalit Bohra praised the use of art for social causes and encouraged people to embrace millets for healthy living and preserve their food heritage. The exhibition is open for three days.

विश्व खाद्य दिवस मनाने के लिए विशाखापत्तनम में मिलेट्स से बनी पेंटिंग्स की एक कला प्रदर्शनी का उद्घाटन किया गया। मिलेट कलाकार मेका विजय कुमार द्वारा आयोजित इस प्रदर्शनी में 16 कलाकृतियाँ दिखाई गई हैं जो मानव के भोजन की आदतों के विकास को दर्शाती हैं। ये कलाकृतियाँ पारंपरिक खाद्य प्रणालियों और मिलेट्स से लेकर आधुनिक पैक्ड फूड और फास्ट-फूड संस्कृति तक की यात्रा को दर्शाती हैं। डिविजनल रेलवे मैनेजर ललित बोहरा ने सामाजिक कारणों के लिए कला के उपयोग की सराहना की और लोगों को स्वस्थ जीवन के लिए मिलेट्स अपनाने और अपनी खाद्य विरासत को संरक्षित करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया। प्रदर्शनी तीन दिनों के लिए खुली है।
