UP Police Half Encounter: 5 Arrested After Attack On Officials

Following an attack on a Naib Tehsildar and two Lekhpals by alleged mining mafia in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh, police have intensified action against the accused. In two separate encounters morning, police shot and injured three individuals, including two brothers, in the legs. A total of five people have been arrested. Authorities recovered pistols, country-made firearms, cars, and dumpers used in illegal mining. The arrested individuals face multiple criminal cases, and further legal action is underway.

सुल्तानपुर, उत्तर प्रदेश में कथित खनन माफिया द्वारा एक नायब तहसीलदार और दो लेखपालों पर हमले के बाद पुलिस ने आरोपियों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई तेज कर दी है। सुबह दो अलग-अलग मुठभेड़ों में पुलिस ने दो भाइयों सहित तीन लोगों को पैर में गोली मारकर घायल कर दिया। कुल पांच लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है। अवैध खनन में इस्तेमाल की जाने वाली पिस्तौल, देसी हथियार, कारें और डंपर बरामद किए गए हैं। गिरफ्तार लोगों पर कई आपराधिक मामले दर्ज हैं और आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई जारी है।
