NSE Chairman Wants India to Reconsider Self-Listing

NSE Chairman Srinivas Injeti suggested India's markets regulator should reconsider allowing exchanges to list on their own platforms. He stated this is timely as India's capital markets have matured. While self-listing is common globally, it is viewed as a conflict of interest in India. The NSE currently dominates India's equity markets, holding about 93% of cash-market trading and nearly 75% of options trading.

एनएसई (NSE) के चेयरमैन श्रीनिवास इंजेटी ने कहा कि भारत के बाज़ार नियामक को एक्सचेंजों को अपने ही प्लेटफॉर्म पर लिस्ट होने की अनुमति देने पर फिर से विचार करना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि यह सही समय है क्योंकि भारत के पूंजी बाज़ार परिपक्व हो गए हैं। हालाँकि दुनिया भर में यह आम है, लेकिन भारत में इसे हितों का टकराव माना जाता है। एनएसई (NSE) अभी भारत के इक्विटी बाज़ारों में हावी है।
