Times of India · business

For the first time since Covid, Delhi and Mumbai have surpassed leisure destinations like Ranthambore and Rishikesh as Indian cities with the highest average hotel tariffs. In FY 2025-26, Delhi recorded an average revenue per available room (RevPAR) of Rs 9,811, followed closely by Mumbai at Rs 9,761. This shift indicates a revival in corporate travel, international tourism, and MICE activities. Varanasi also saw a significant jump, ranking fifth with Rs 8,857 RevPAR, ahead of Udaipur and Goa.
