HC Orders De-addiction Centre Production After Detention Claim

The court sought detailed records and directed the Dehradun district magistrate to inquire into the centre's operations. Initially claiming he wanted release, the petitioner later stated he was fine, raising judicial suspicion. The HC has scheduled a further hearing for, demanding authorization documents and staff qualifications.

उत्तराखंड हाई कोर्ट ने जीवन संकल्प सोसाइटी नशामुक्ति केंद्र में कथित तौर पर जबरन रोके गए एक व्यक्ति को पेश करने का आदेश दिया है। कोर्ट ने विस्तृत रिकॉर्ड मांगा और देहरादून के जिला मजिस्ट्रेट को केंद्र के कामकाज की जांच करने का निर्देश दिया। याचिकाकर्ता ने पहले रिहाई की मांग की थी, लेकिन बाद में कहा कि वह ठीक है, जिससे कोर्ट को शक हुआ।
