Telangana Property Registration Revenue Surges Despite Slower Sales

Telangana's finances are bolstered by a significant surge in property registration revenue, reaching ₹8,710 crore between April and of the current financial year. This increase of ₹1,500 crore compared to the previous year is largely attributed to a government revision of land values on June 5. Despite a slowdown in property transactions, particularly in the agricultural sector, overall revenue has grown. Approximately 10 lakh documents have been registered this year, a marginal increase from last year, with higher value assessments driving the revenue growth.

तेलंगाना के वित्त को प्रॉपर्टी रजिस्ट्रेशन से होने वाली कमाई में बड़ी बढ़ोतरी से सहारा मिला है, जो चालू वित्तीय वर्ष के अप्रैल से ₹8,710 करोड़ तक पहुंच गई है। पिछले साल की तुलना में ₹1,500 करोड़ की यह वृद्धि काफी हद तक 5 जून को सरकार द्वारा भूमि मूल्यों में किए गए संशोधन के कारण हुई है। प्रॉपर्टी के सौदों में, खासकर कृषि क्षेत्र में, सुस्ती के बावजूद, कुल राजस्व में वृद्धि हुई है। इस साल लगभग 10 लाख दस्तावेज़ों का रजिस्ट्रेशन हुआ है, जो पिछले साल की तुलना में मामूली वृद्धि है, और उच्च मूल्य के आकलन से राजस्व में वृद्धि हुई है।
