Two Odia and one Marathi expatriate living in Tokyo have successfully raised Rs 85,000 to aid 55 families in Assam's Sivasagar district affected by recent devastating floods. The initiative, driven by IT engineer Abhinash Sahu, aimed for complete transparency by directly transferring funds to a local coordinator, Trishna Gogoi. The collected money was distributed in cash to ensure families could address their most urgent needs, such as food and shelter.

टोक्यो में रहने वाले दो ओडिया और एक मराठी प्रवासी ने हाल की विनाशकारी बाढ़ से प्रभावित असम के शिवसागर जिले के 55 परिवारों की मदद के लिए सफलतापूर्वक ₹85,000 जुटाए हैं। आईटी इंजीनियर अविनाश साहू द्वारा संचालित इस पहल का उद्देश्य स्थानीय समन्वयक तृष्णा गोगोई को सीधे फंड ट्रांसफर करके पूर्ण पारदर्शिता सुनिश्चित करना था। एकत्र किए गए पैसे को नकद में वितरित किया गया ताकि परिवार भोजन और आश्रय जैसी अपनी सबसे जरूरी जरूरतों को पूरा कर सकें।
