A Mandal Agriculture Officer (MAO) in Telangana's Sangareddy district, G. Ramesh, was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday, November 2, 2026. He was allegedly demanding and accepting a ₹20,000 bribe from a complainant. This payment was part of a total ₹30,000 bribe demanded to ensure the smooth operation of a fertiliser business. The officer had already received ₹10,000 earlier and was caught red-handed with the remaining amount. The ACB recovered the bribe money and stated the officer acted improperly to gain an undue advantage.

तेलंगाना के संगारेड्डी जिले के एक मंडल कृषि अधिकारी (MAO) जी. रमेश को मंगलवार, 2 नवंबर, 2026 को भ्रष्टाचार निरोधक ब्यूरो (ACB) ने गिरफ्तार कर लिया। उन पर आरोप है कि वे एक शिकायतकर्ता से ₹20,000 की रिश्वत मांग रहे थे और स्वीकार कर रहे थे। यह भुगतान एक उर्वरक व्यवसाय के सुचारू संचालन को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए मांगी गई कुल ₹30,000 की रिश्वत का हिस्सा था। अधिकारी ने पहले ही ₹10,000 ले लिए थे और बाकी रकम के साथ रंगे हाथों पकड़े गए। ACB ने रिश्वत की रकम बरामद कर ली और कहा कि अधिकारी ने अनुचित लाभ उठाने के लिए अनुचित तरीके से काम किया।
