Rajnath Singh Condemns Sangrur Road Accident Killing 8 MGNREGA Workers

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has expressed deep grief over a tragic road accident in Punjab's Sangrur district where eight MGNREGA workers were killed and several others injured. A speeding car ran over the workers who were resting by the roadside. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh for the deceased's families and pledged free medical treatment for the injured. Mann also assured swift apprehension of the absconding driver and strict action against those responsible for the horrific incident.

केंद्रीय रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने पंजाब के संगरूर जिले में एक दुखद सड़क दुर्घटना पर गहरा दुख व्यक्त किया है, जिसमें आठ मनरेगा मजदूर मारे गए और कई अन्य घायल हो गए। तेज रफ्तार कार ने सड़क किनारे आराम कर रहे मजदूरों को कुचल दिया। पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान ने मृतकों के परिवारों के लिए 2 लाख रुपये की अनुग्रह राशि की घोषणा की और घायलों के लिए मुफ्त चिकित्सा उपचार का वादा किया। मान ने फरार चालक को तुरंत पकड़ने और इस भयानक घटना के लिए जिम्मेदार लोगों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई का भी आश्वासन दिया।
