CM Satheesan: CPI(M) Scapegoated Govindan for Poll Debacle

Kerala Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan stated that the CPI(M) has scapegoated its State secretary, M.V. Govindan, for the LDF's Assembly election defeat. He believes the party is avoiding collective leadership failure and a disconnect with its members and the public. Satheesan noted that the CPI(M)'s extended State committee meeting in Kozhikode seemed to deny the real reasons for the historic defeat, instead focusing on insulating leadership from blame.

केरल के मुख्यमंत्री वी.डी. सतीसन ने कहा कि CPI(M) ने विधानसभा चुनाव में LDF की हार के लिए अपने राज्य सचिव एम.वी. गोविंदन को बलि का बकरा बनाया है। उनका मानना है कि पार्टी सामूहिक नेतृत्व की विफलता और कार्यकर्ताओं व जनता से दूरी को छिपा रही है। सतीसन ने कहा कि कोझिकोड में CPI(M) की राज्य समिति की बैठक में हार के असली कारणों को छुपाया गया और नेतृत्व को बचाने की कोशिश की गई।
