Wrestling promoter Stu Hart and his wife Helen purchased a Calgary mansion in 1951 for $25,000, transforming it into their family home and a significant site in professional wrestling history. Their son, Bret Hart, grew up in the house, which featured a basement known as the "Dungeon" where Stu trained wrestlers. The approximately 5,600-square-foot mansion, built in 1905, was later sold by the Hart family in 2004 for $1.5 million. Six years later, the refurbished property was listed for nearly $5 million, highlighting its considerable increase in value.
