A Qantas flight from Italy to Australia was cancelled after passengers on a previous journey complained of bedbug bites. The Boeing 787 Dreamliner, operating a 17-hour flight from Australia to Italy, had passengers in economy reporting bites. The airline stated the aircraft was grounded for a deep clean after the issue was identified in a small number of economy seats. Affected passengers were provided with accommodation and rebooked on alternative flights within 48 hours.
