The urgent petition was filed after Panettiere's accidental overdose death left their 11-year-old daughter as the sole heir. Klitschko sought to protect the child's assets from being taken or sold by federal agents and an unnamed non-family member. The court approved the move to safeguard the estate until a long-term administrator can be appointed, also addressing tax filings. Panettiere died at age 36 from an accidental overdose.
