Mumbai Civic Body Demolishes 28 Structures in Ghatkopar

Mumbai's BMC demolished 28 structures between Jhunjhunwala College and Andheri-Ghatkopar Link Road in Ghatkopar (West) on Wednesday. On Thursday, seven unauthorised shops, 15 tarpaulin sheds, two platforms, and 20 hawkers were removed from footpaths in Sewri. This action was part of the 'Pedestrian First' campaign to clear encroachments. Four material storage spots were also cleared, ensuring footpaths remain accessible to pedestrians.
