Delhi Deputy CM Slaps Aide Over Road Quality

Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Parvesh Verma slapped an aide of AAP MLA Jarnail Singh during a confrontation over a newly built road in west Delhi's Vikaspuri. AAP workers alleged the road was breaking apart, peeling off like a carpet. Verma countered, accusing the MLA of demanding a Rs 50 lakh commission and damaging the road when denied. Police have detained AAP workers and are investigating two complaints filed by the contractor and the assaulted aide.
