A family court in Uttar Pradesh has fined Bhojpuri actor Pawan Singh ₹3,000 for failing to appear for a hearing in a maintenance case filed by his wife, Jyoti Singh. His lawyer stated Singh could not attend due to his mother's illness, submitting a medical certificate and mediation application. The court has scheduled the next hearing for November 12. Jyoti Singh accused her husband of disrespecting the judicial process, noting the case was filed four years ago and her life has been ruined.

उत्तर प्रदेश की एक फैमिली कोर्ट ने भोजपुरी एक्टर पवन सिंह पर ₹3,000 का जुर्माना लगाया है। यह जुर्माना उनकी पत्नी ज्योति सिंह द्वारा दायर भरण-पोषण मामले की सुनवाई में हाजिर न होने पर लगाया गया है। उनके वकील ने बताया कि सिंह अपनी माँ की बीमारी के कारण पेश नहीं हो सके और उन्होंने मेडिकल सर्टिफिकेट और मध्यस्थता आवेदन जमा किया। कोर्ट ने अगली सुनवाई 12 नवंबर को तय की है। ज्योति सिंह ने अपने पति पर न्यायिक प्रक्रिया का अनादर करने का आरोप लगाया, यह बताते हुए कि मामला चार साल पहले दायर किया गया था और उनका जीवन बर्बाद हो गया है।
